Stepping Into a New Chapter with the Dignity of Work Institute
Introducing our new Executive Director
I’m honored and excited to share that I’ve stepped into the role of Inaugural Executive Director of the Dignity of Work Institute. This opportunity is both deeply personal and incredibly meaningful to me, and I’m grateful for the trust placed in me to help lead this organization into its next chapter of growth and impact.
As a native of Youngstown, Ohio, my commitment to community and public service has shaped every stage of my career. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working at the intersection of civic engagement, public policy, and nonprofit leadership. Most recently, I served as Ohio State Director for All Voting is Local, and I’ve spent years collaborating with advocates, community leaders, and public officials to strengthen participation and access in our democracy.
I’ve also had the honor of helping to revitalize the Cleveland NAACP and serving as its immediate past President, experiences that reinforced my belief in the power of collective action and principled leadership. Along the way, I contributed to Senator Sherrod Brown’s bipartisan federal judicial commission, supporting efforts to vet judicial appointees, and began my professional journey in local government with a focus on serving the public good.
By training, I’m an attorney, with a BA from Kent State University and both a JD and MPA from Cleveland State University. My legal and policy work has included nonprofit formation and compliance, voting rights, election law, and coalition building — all experiences that continue to inform how I approach leadership and partnership.
What draws me most to the Dignity of Work Institute is its bold vision: creating an economy and society where the hard work of all Americans is truly valued and rewarded. In this role, I look forward to working alongside supporters, partners, and communities across the country to advance respect, security, and opportunity for the people who power our economy every day.
I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way and excited for what we will build together. This is just the beginning, and I’m eager to listen, learn, and uplift working Americans nationwide.

If any Ohioans have a hope of escaping the coal mine of the Republican led Senate, we all must support the Dignity of all Ohio workers and vote for Democrats all the way down the ballot. Don't sacrifice yourself to the pollution spewed by the current majority.
